| Eligibility: | Cabell, Wayne, Mason and Lincoln Co. rape victims of any age, their friends or family. Rape may have occurred in present or the past. |
| Description: | Support service professionals available. SERVICES: RAPE CRISIS COUNSELING TEAM: Confidential and anonymous counseling services for victims of sexual assault and their friends & families. Provides advocacy, crisis intervention and support during medical exam, police questioning and court appearances. Individual, group or telephone counseling. Support for stalking victims. EDUCATIONAL SERVICES: > Provides sexual assault prevention education through speakers to groups or individually through phone calls. > Provides advocacy in sexual harrassment cases. SPEAKERS BUREAU: Provides speakers. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: > Fifteen hour training curriculum, mandated. > Must meet CONTACT criteria |
