| Eligibility: | Girls, ages 12-21 in WV State custody, DSM-IV diagnosis, appropriate for public school attendance, willingness to participate in program. Referrals may be initiated by other agencies, however, DHHR makes final recommendation. |
| Description: | AREAS OF SPECIALIZATION: Sexual abuse, truancy, low self-esteem, special education (LD & MMI) SERVICES: > Residential Care: Residential group home for girls. Nine month program. Provides professional mental health services. ( Assessment, treatment planning, case management, supportive counseling, crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy, behavior management planning and implementation and basic living skills.) > Preparation for Adult Living Program (PAL) > Transitional living house (over six months) > Recreation, events and activities with cultural enrichment > EPSDT screens and follow-up |
