| Description: | Member of the Faith in Action, national network. Trained volunteers provide "Neighborly Assistance." SERVICES BASED ON AVAILABILITY OF VOLUNTEERS: > Respite care > Errands > Transportation > Visitation > Paperwork > Limited in home services: Shopping, minor home repairs (painting, patchwork, leaf raking, lightbulbs - nothing which could put a volunteer in harm's way or that would require a licensed professional.) NOTE: Does not provide housekeeping services. Meal preparation services are provided only on a short-term, emergency basis. > Telephone reassurance > Coordinates wheelchair ramp construction (very limited availability) |
