HUNTINGTON SERVICES: Doesn't provide direct services to clients.who are blind or visually impaired. > Product Evaluation Laboratory: Evaluates mainstream technology and works with influential technology companies (for a fee) to make existing and future technology more accessible to persons who are blind or visually impaired. Evaluates assistive technology and provides consumer reports published in AFB's "AccessWorld" magazine and available through the internet. > Maintains CareerConnect Program: Matches up employed persons who are blind with persons seeking employment/training. Employed persons serve as mentors. Informs employers & educators about the successful work done by professionals and other employed persons who are blind or visually impaired.
