| Description: | Non-profit organization whose mission is to provide free professional help to people with cancer of any type. SERVICES: > Limited counseling > Education > Information > Limited direct financial assistance for transportation, home health care, child care, medication, and chemo-therapy. (Assistance varies based on grants being administered, availability of funds and donor stipulations.) Also, provides referrals for financial assistance to other agencies. > Support via the internet, individualized telephone counseling, referrals to local support groups. > Teleconferences between professional which are conducted free for participants with free listening to discussion provided for patients/families. |
