SERVICES: > Recruitment and retention of rural health care providers > Leadership development in rural communities > Development of rural provider networks > Technical assistance and consultation to rural providers > Community Forums on rural health access issues > Rural Health Policy Institutes for policy makers and other leaders > Linkages between economic development and health care > Administering a Loan Fund for rural health providers > HEALTHeWV (HEALTHeFORCES): Utilizes information technology to implement medical best practices, with program similar to the Military's. Pilot project targeting region served by University Physicians and Surgeons. |
