| Eligibility: | Children of low-income families who have little opportunity to access books and who desire the opportunity to read and own their first new books. Must participate in an educational program qualified for a book grant. |
| Description: | SERVICES: Provides book grants to pre-schools, day care programs, after-school programs, tutoring and mentoring programs for eligible programs. Each child receives at least 6 new books to start their own personal library. VOLUNTEERISM: Seeks community volunteers to provide fund-raising projects to help purchase the books. |
