Ye Ole Gala 2012!

 

Be it known that one and all are summoned to ye annual Library Gala, a reception feast of truly historic grandeur, presented the evening of Saturday, March 3 rd at ye Big Sandy Superstore Conference Center.

The grand reception will begin at 6:30 o’ the clock, and the five-course feast will be served at 7:00 o’ the clock sharp.

Thine entertainment for the evening will include a full measure of medieval merriment: a musical performance by sweet sounding lords and ladies of ye Opus Chorale of Charleston, a fencing demonstration, strolling musicians, jugglers, and more. Also, many lucky knights and ladies may take home with them a door prize of great worth.

All this fun is offered, not just for thine enjoyment, but for a good cause–the coffers of ye Library Endowment Fund. Although ye library is supported by tax dollars, those dollars are stretched only so far. Ye Endowment Fund helps close the gap. With thine help, ye library will continue to offer the quality service and programs as it is known throughout this fair land
